On October 26, Pokimane expressed discomfort seeing Atrioc at Ludwig and QTCinderella's wedding, clarifying that she was directly affected by his 2023 deepfake incident. Atrioc responded by validating her feelings and announced his withdrawal from his TwitchCon 2026 panel.

When Atrioc was first caught looking at paywalled deepfake content of female streamers in 2023, the specific page shown on his stream featured Pokimane, though she remained publicly silent at the time due to discomfort and humiliation. Nearly four years later, during an October 25 livestream, Pokimane said seeing Atrioc's name or face still causes her "a lot of discomfort and anxiety." She expressed cognitive dissonance about seeing her close friends at Ludwig and QTCinderella's wedding positioned near Atrioc, questioning whether they agreed with her stance or not. On October 26, Pokimane clarified that the 2023 incident left her publicly humiliated despite Atrioc's donations to remove such content and his $3,000 offer to her personally, noting her own significant spending on the issue. Atrioc responded by stating that Pokimane's "feelings are totally valid" and announced that he had withdrawn from his TwitchCon 2026 panel, saying he did so because he "doesn't know if that's going to make someone uncomfortable." He pushed back against being used as a weapon to attack his friends. However, the controversy triggered broader debate within the streaming community, with some prominent figures like xQc and Asmongold weighing in on both sides of the dispute.
