Kick Streamer OnyxDenji Attacked During Livestream After Using Racial Slur in Boston

On October 14, 2026, Kick streamer OnyxDenji filmed a content stunt in a Boston-area neighborhood where he approached individuals on the street offering fried chicken. According to multiple reports, the situation escalated when residents repeatedly told him to stop recording and leave the area. When one man returned the food, OnyxDenji allegedly used a racial slur during the exchange. The man then threw a bottle and charged at the streamer, resulting in OnyxDenji being tackled to the ground and struck repeatedly. His phone was reportedly taken during the altercation. The incident has been described as an example of "nuisance streaming," a format in which broadcasters deliberately provoke strangers in public for online engagement and views. The footage of the beating went viral across social media platforms, accumulating millions of views by October 16. Critics on social media condemned OnyxDenji's provocative approach, with many arguing the stunt deliberately played on racial stereotypes for content creation. Other content creators have also weighed in on the incident. Kick streamer Sneako commented on the beating, initially chuckling before turning serious and telling viewers: "Don't do this content." As of October 16, OnyxDenji's Kick channel appears to have been suspended and is no longer available on the platform. No arrests related to the confrontation have been publicly confirmed, and OnyxDenji has not issued a detailed public response to the incident.
