Korean YouTuber Needmorecash Admits to 'Inappropriate Actions' Following Dating Violence Allegations

Needmorecash (real name Cha Chung Il), a popular YouTuber and TikTok creator, acknowledged through his agency that he had committed 'inappropriate actions' and used abusive language following allegations of dating violence made by his former partner. He has also announced that he will suspend all activities.
The controversy began with a lengthy post recently uploaded to social media. A woman identified as 'A,' who claimed to be needmorecash's former partner, shared her account of the alleged incidents along with audio recordings. A alleged that Needmorecash verbally abused her for approximately three hours and used physical force against her, including pushing her shoulders and forehead. She further claimed that the YouTuber made disparaging comments about people from a particular region and children with disabilities.
On September 29, Needmorecash's agency, NOB Entertainment, addressed the allegations, stating, 'After confirming the facts with the individual involved, we determined that there had been inappropriate words and actions.' The agency continued, 'We are taking this matter very seriously, and after discussions with the individual, we have decided that he will suspend all activities.' It added, 'We apologize to the person who was harmed by his actions.'
Needmorecash is a creator who is reportedly known to have previously worked as a backup dancer for BTS. He gained wider recognition through the 'Good Night Ojosama' content he created with comedian Kim Kyung Wook and also appeared on the Netflix reality show The Influencer. Content featuring him on Badeunus has also been made private one after another. 'Mystery Bang-gooseok Detective Game,' which had been posted on Badeunus's official YouTube channel, was set to private on September 29. NEEDMORECASH appeared in the content. The Kim Chaewon episode of LE SSERAFIM's 'Please Deposit,' which has surpassed 2.27 million views, is also currently private. NEEDMORECASH appeared in that video as well.
